Timo was educated at Auckland University and acquisitioned the successful purchase of Scarab Systems Ltd to where he holds the executive position of Managing Director at Scarab Systems TJA Ltd.

Timo’s previous experience is both in the private and public sectors having worked as a Chief Executive in Vocational Training, Hospitality Management at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Waipuna Hotel, Mt Wellington Trust Hotels, Kenny's Bar & Grill as well as working for (MSD) Ministry of Social Development for over 18 years. Timo has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Govt policy, processes, Regulations and legislative requirements as well as the design, development and implementation of Internationally recognised ISO Management systems and standards to the renowned Quality Management Standard ISO 9001:2015 | Health & Safety Management Standard ISO 45001 & 18001 and AS/NZ 4801 | ISO 45001:2018 | ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Standard, ISO 22000 Food Safety Management Standard as well as other ISO Management standards.

Timo was instrumental in Scarab Systems being one of only a few Approved Tier 3 All of Government Consultancy Service providers to the NZ Govt.  

 Timo also holds the executive position of an elected Board member on NZSTIC (New Zealand Samoan Trade and Investment Commission.

Timo is also an affiliate member of the NZ Institute of Safety Management
